As a former Upper Elementary Directress here at Chesterton Montessori, I am delighted to be back and working as a toddler directress, helping each child build their foundation for learning that will last a lifetime. I was delighted that Montessori found me right away as I graduated college in 2007 with a B.S. in Elementary Education. I have received my Lower Elementary Certification from MMTTC, my Upper Elementary Certification from IAMS and my Infant/Toddler Certification from Seton Montessori Institute. I love all things Montessori! It has been such a pleasure to work with the spectrum of ages in a Montessori setting, recognizing a child's individual potential and creating the opportunity that each child has to grow into the person they were created to be.
Besides working with the parents and children in my class, I also enjoy spending time with my boys at our farm in Wanatah, IN. Traveling, spending time outdoors, singing, playing games & crafting are other things you might find me doing with any spare time I have.
